Schizophrenia is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder. Cognitive deficit the central feature of disorders. impairment related to social, functional, and clinical symptoms. The aim this study was investigate usability Montreal Assessment (MoCA) as screening instrument for cognitive in schizophrenic patients alone, correlation with Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE). This included 31 diagnosed schizophrenia. Patients were selected from Psychiatry Clinic. For assessment impairment, we used Scale Of total number (n=31), 6/31 (19.4 %) males 25/31 (80.6 females; mean duration disorder 23.5 years (SD=6.69). Seventeen (54.8%) those who on MMSE scale had score greater or equal 24 (normal range) MoCA normal (>21), while 11 (35.5%) reported moderate severe impairment.
